Slime and mess go hand in hand, and that is part of the joy. But when slime finds its way onto fabric, carpet, or furniture, it helps to know exactly what to do. The golden rule is simple: do not rub, always lift.
From Clothes and Fabric
The best way is to clean it right away using dish soap and a brush. Soak the area in white vinegar for a few minutes, then work it gently with an old toothbrush. Rinse and wash as normal. For stubborn residue, a little rubbing alcohol on a cotton pad works well.
From Hard Surfaces
On tiles, countertops, or wooden floors, let the slime dry and then peel it away cleanly. Any residue can be removed with warm soapy water or a mild all-purpose cleaner. Avoid harsh chemicals, as they are unnecessary and can damage surfaces.
From Carpet
Carpet is trickier. Apply a mix of warm water and white vinegar to any remaining stain, blot with a clean cloth, and allow it to air dry. Never rub, as this can spread the stain further.
A Tip From Us
Lay down a silicone mat or tray before slime play. It takes thirty seconds to set up and saves a lot of cleaning time afterwards.
Use these simple methods as and when needed to keep things clean and stress free.
